The bedrooms, separated by the Great
Room, provide excellent privacy for two couples or a family.
All rooms are air-conditioned and feature rolling glass doors opening
onto the decks. The Bedrooms are equal in size and the Master Bedroom
features a king sized bed.
The second bedroom can be made up as a King size or 2 Twin Beds.
Enjoy the ocean view and the birdsongs from the comfort of your bed.
Let the moonlight flood into your room and an evening breeze caress
your body. It is easy to understand why Palmello is becoming

 Palmello Floor Plan The apartment Gardenia is below the villa Palmello and is reached from the driveway by outdoor steps. Either can be rented individually without interference of privacy or the villa and apartment can be rented together for a total capacity of 10 persons. Both residences are designed with utmost privacy in mind. |

Our week in paradise was just that at Palmello. Palmello's inndoor-outdoor ambiance offers a perfect place to relax and write. I wrote four new poems and a play outline and my husband wrote a few poems too. Finished reading two books, spent lots of time with friends, worked out, got massages- surprised how much we did in one week at an extremely relaxed pace all the while. I also snorkeled for the first time. What a place to get initiated!

We had the pleasure of staying at Gardenia the first week and Palmello this week. Both have been very nice, but the view from the deck here at Palmello is to die for. It will be hard to return to Vermont. We love St. John and Palmello is definitely the best place we've stayed in so far. In addition to the deck here, we love the hot tub. This is a typical day at Palmello....rise to the gentle breezes as the sun creeps into your bedroom. Turn on the coffee pot, go out on the deck and say good morning to the geckos and hummingbirds. Prepare to be entertained! Next you will ponder about the events of the day. Should we go hiking in the hill? Snorkeling?, Oh, which beach should we go to? Yes to snorkeling! We went to Annaberg and saw lots of fish, sting rays and a beautiful coral reef. Dinner at Asolare was great - beautiful sunset, food and service awesome. But even if you don't go out, cocktails and dinner on the deck of Palmello are great watching the sunset. We can't wait for our next trip to St. John!

"Palmello is great. If you are an early riser, you can see the cruise ships going to port in St. Thomas. In the morning you are likely to see hummingbirds and bananaquits in the trees next to the balcony. Sunsets from the porch are divine. Have a drink and watch before going to town for dinner."
